WE'RE HERE!

On Sunday, March 8th in Vancouver, a host of community skate groups got together at Strathcona Park to celebrate International Women's Day with the "We're Here!" skate jam. Lessons, prizes, activities, giveaways, and a whole lot of stoke was freely available to anyone that came by. As always, it was heartening to see what a community can do when they stick together.

Thanks to Late Bloomers, Skate Goats, Vancouver Queer Skate, Friendly Skates, Hot Skate Moms, Chickflip, Antisocial Skateboard Shop, East Van Skate Club, and everyone else that came out to lend a hand and share a smile. We all appreciate what you do.

Carry on down for some great photos from the day, shot by Norma Ibarra.
